In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Goa Town
and Country Planning (Amendment) Act, 2018
(Goa Act 9 of 2018), the Government of Goa
hereby appoints the third day of October, 2018,
as the date on which the provisions of the said
Act shall come into force.

In exercise of powers conferred by sub-
section (2) of section 140 and sub-section (2)
of section 16B of the Goa, Daman and Diu
Town and Country Planning Act,1974 (Act 21
of 1975) and all other powers enabling it in
EXTRAORDINARY
No. 2
that behalf, the Government of Goa
hereby
makes
the
following
rules,
namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (1)
These rules may be called the Goa Town and
Country Planning (Change of Zone in the
Regional Plan) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of
commencement of the Goa Town and Country
Planning (Amendment) Act, 2018 (Goa Act 9
of 2018).
2. Definitions.— In these rules, unless the
context otherwise requires,—
(a) “Act” means the Goa, Daman and Diu
Town and Country Planning Act, 1974 (Act 21
of 1975);
(b) “Form” means a form appended to these
rules;
(c) “Regional Plan” means plan notified
under section 15 of the Act, which is in force.
3. Form of application for making request
for change of zone of land in the Regional
Plan.— A request for change of zone of land
in the Regional Plan shall be made in Form ‘A’
hereto.
