Ref. GPPDA/ODP of TPA/1802/2019

Whereas the Government of Goa through the

Secretary, Town and Country Planning Department

declared the Taleigao Planning Area vide

Notification No. 28/10/TCP/2017-18/184 dated

15-12-2017.

And whereas, the said planning area comes under

the jurisdiction of the Greater Panaji Planning &

Development Authority vide ref. No. 28/11/TCP/

/2018/272 dated 14-02-2018.

And whereas, the Greater Panaji Planning &

Development Authority vide letter No. GPPDA/

/PLUM&R/737/2018 dated 07-09-2018 has submitted

the Present Land Use Map and Register of Taleigao

Planning Area to the Town and Country Planning

Board. The Town and Country Planning Board in its

163rd (Adj) meeting held on 15-10-2018 took the note

of the same.

And whereas, the said Present Land Use Map and

Register of Taleigao Planning Area was Published

and Notified in the Government Official Gazette,

Series III No. 23 dated 06-09-2018 and the same has

been adopted by this Authority.

And whereas, the Greater Panaji Planning &

Development Authority vide letter No. GPPDA/ODP/

/TPA/758/18 dated 19-09-2018 has submitted the

draft ODP-2028 of Taleigao Planning Area to the Town

and Country Planning Board.

And whereas, the Town and Country Planning

Board in its 163rd (Adj) meeting held on

15-10-2018 approved the draft ODP-2028 of Taleigao

Planning Area under Section 34 of Town and

Country Planning Act, 1974 as conveyed by the

Chief Town Planner (Planning) vide Ref. No. 36/1/

/TCP/320/2018/2349 dated 15-11-2018.

And whereas, the Government of Goa in exercise

of its power confirmed under Section 34 of Town

and Country Planning Act, conveyed its approval

for Draft ODP-2028 of Taleigao Planning Area.

And whereas, after the approval of the ODP-

-2028 of Taleigao Planning Area under Section 34

of Town and Country Planning Act, 1974, the

Notice of preparation of Draft ODP of Taleigao

Planning Area was published under Section 35(1)

of Town and Country Planning Act, 1974,

vide Notification No. 36/1/TCP/320/2018/2349

published in Government Official Gazette

Series III No. 33 dated 15-11-2018 informing the

general public to give their objections, if any,

within 60 days of the publication of the said

notification in the Official Gazette.

And whereas after inspecting the site and

hearing the objections, by the committee

constituted by the Authority for said purpose, the

said committee submitted its report to the

authority under Section 35(6) of the Town and

Country Planning Act, 1974 and the Authority in

its 9th adjourned meeting (1st sitting) held on

31-01-2019 considered the report and unanimously

approved the ODP-2028 of Taleigao Planning Area.

And whereas ODP-2028 of Taleigao Planning

Area was submitted to the Town and Country

Planning Board for consideration under Section 36

Ref. No. GPPDA/ODP of TPA/1764/2019 dated

31-01-2019. The said ODP-2028 of Taleigao Planning

Area was placed before 164th (Adj) meeting of the

Goa Town and Country Planning Board held on

01-02-2019 and the Board recommended its approval

for the same.

And whereas approval of the Government under

Section 36 of Town and Country Planning Act, 1974

is communicated by The Chief Town Planner

(Planning) vide Order No. 36/1/TCP/348/2019/458

dated 18-02-2019.

And whereas under Section 37(1) of Town and

Country Planning Act, 1974 the Publication of

Notification of the ODP-2028 of Taleigao Planning

Area is notified, and shall come in to operation

under Section 37(3) of Town and Country Planning

Act, 1974 from date of publication of this

notification.

The said ODP-2028 of Taleigao Planning Area

shall be subject to the provisions of “The Goa Land

Development & Building Regulation 2010” as

amended from time to time.

And whereas this Authority now therefore is

informing the general public that the copy of the

ODP-2028 of Taleigao Planning Area shall be

available for the inspection at the Office of Greater

Panaji Planning Development Authority at Mala,

Panaji, Goa as per the convenience of the public on

all working days during office hours.

And whereas the said ODP-2028 of Taleigao

Planning Area may also be inspected at the office

of village Panchayat of Taleigao, Tiswadi-Goa during

office hours.

And whereas the said ODP-2028 of Taleigao

Planning Area may also inspected at the office of

the Corporation of City of Panaji, Panaji during office

hours.
