investment made in the State under sub-section 3
and 4 of Section 3 of Goa Investment Promotion
Act, 2014 (hereinafter referred as the “said Act”)
read with Clause (r) of Section 2 of said Act.

However, in terms of Section 8 of the said Act,
the Board shall not recommend cases for setting
up of projects or for investment promotion in the
areas mentioned therein.
The Government now therefore directs that the
Board shall act as a Single Window for projects
proposals received by them for projects covered
under Section 8 of the said Act. However, the role
of the board shall be limited to that of a facilitator
in obtaining requisite clearances/approvals from
the Central Government/State Government
Departments and other agencies.
The Board shall within 07 days from the receipt
of the orders of the Competent Authority either
sanctioning or rejecting the clearance, as the case
may be forward the same to the applicant which
shall result into disposal of the application.

exercise of the powers conferred as per Clause IX
of the Notification referred at (i) above, the “Debt
Relief Scheme for mining affected Borrowers of
Financial Institutions” is further extended upto
30-09-2018 from the date of the expiry of the said
scheme. The proposed extension is limited to only
those proposals that are pending with the banks
or those which were rejected earlier.
Since this is the last revision of the scheme, the
final authority to grant the benefit either fully or
partly in exceptional cases in either single case or
group of cases shall lie with Hon’ble Chief Minister
whose decision shall be final, in case Committee
either defers the decision on proposal or decides
on such proposal in negative.
This issues with the approval of the Government.

Whereas in terms of the directives issued by the
Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development,
Government of India, vide letter bearing DO. No.
SW-47/10/2015-Swadhar dated 31-01-2018, the
Government of Goa has to appoint a suitable officer
who will act as per the guidelines issued by the
Committee constituted under the direction of the
Hon’ble Supreme Court of India by Judgment
dated August 11, 2017 in Writ Petition (Civil)
No. 659 of 2007.
And whereas the guideline at point 2.4
(Protection of Property Rights) states that the
Transfers, release deeds, No Objection Certificates
or other conveyance documents and mutations
of widows’ property should be endorsed by the
Sub-Divisional Officer (or any other officer of like
profile) that such officer has personally satisfied
herself or himself that the conveyance and mutation
is not done by the widow under coercion or undue
influence. The following template is suggested for
verification:
“Certified that the contents and effect of the above
transaction/Power of Attorney in respect of property
have been explained to xxxxxx, W/o late xxxxxx,
aged xxxxx, resident of xxxxxx, and it has been
verified that she is entering into the same with her
full and free consent, without being under any duress
of coercion.

19-06-2017, Government is pleased to order the
promotion of Smt. Neeta Prithviraj Jadhav, Assistant
Hydrogeologist to the post of Hydrogeologist in
Water Resources Department on regular basis in
the Pay Matrix Level No. 7 and post her in the
Office of Senior Hydrogeologist, Circle Office-I,
WRD, Data Processing Centre and Laboratory,
Porvorim-Goa.
Smt. Neeta Prithviraj Jadhav shall be on
probation for a period of two years as specified in
Column No. 10 of the Recruitment Rules notified
in the Official Gazette, Series I No. 33 dated
11-11-2010.
This is issued with the approval of the
Government vide No. 1430/F dated 09-05-2018.
