In exercise of the powers vested in me vide Rule 2(e) of the Goa Panchayat and

Zilla Panchayat (Election Procedure) Rules, 1996, I, R. K. Srivastava, Commissioner of

Goa State Election Commission, Altinho, Panaji-Goa hereby appoint the Officer

indicated in column No. 2 of the schedule given below as the Returning Officer for

the purpose of conducting the bye-election to fill up vacancy of Zilla Panchayat

indicated in column No. 4 of the said schedule.

Further, in exercise of the powers vested in me under the said Rule 2(e), I, R. K.

Srivastava, Commissioner of Goa State Election Commission hereby appoint the

officer indicated in column No. 3 of the said schedule as Assistant Returning Officer

for purpose of conducting the said bye-election.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me vide Rule 5 of the Goa Panchayat

and Zilla Panchayat (Election Procedure) Rules, 1996, I, R. K. Srivastava, Commissioner

of Goa State Election Commission, hereby notify that the Electoral Roll of the Goa

Legislative Assembly prepared under the provisions of the Representation of People

Act, 1950 (Central Act 43 of 1951) for the time being in force as on 1st January, 2019

with supplement I & II for such Constituency of the Assembly or any part thereof

as is included in the areas within the jurisdiction of the Constituency of the Zilla

Panchayat shall be adopted for the purpose of preparation of Electoral Roll for

holding bye-election to fill up the vacancy of Zilla Panchayat member of 15–Taleigao

of North Goa Zilla Panchayat issued by the Government vide Notification of

delimitation bearing No. 19/35/DP/ELN/2015/(1) dated 18-02-2015.
