Whereas, this office vide order dated 24-05-2012
referred at Sr. 4 above appointed a Committee of
Administrators consisting of 2 members namely,
Shri Michael Fisher–Chairman and Shri Ivo Oscar
Faleiro–Member to manage the affairs of the
Queen’s Garden Co-op. Housing Society Ltd.,
Margao in accordance with the provision of the
Act, Rules and Bye Laws of the society.
And whereas, vide letter referred at Sr. No. 5
above, the Chairman of the Committee of
Administrator of the Queen’s Garden Co-op.
Housing Society Ltd., Margao-Goa has informed
that Shri Ivo Oscar Faleiro, who is member of the
Committee of Administrator has expired on 24th
August, 2016 and due to non availability of second
signatory to the cheques, the utility payment
remained pending since past two years and hence
requested this office to make arrangement of 2nd
signatory in order to sign the society’s cheques for
payment.
And whereas, in order to avoid inconvenience
caused to the members of the aforesaid society.
I hereby pass following order:

In exercise of powers vested in me under
Section 71 of the Goa Co-operative Societies Act,
2001, I, Menino D’Souza, Registrar of Co-operative
Societies, Government of Goa, hereby appoint
Shri Roque Noronha as member of the Committee
of Administrator of the Queen’s Garden Co-op.
Housing Society Ltd., Margao-Goa in place of
Shri Ivo Oscar Faleiro to manage the affairs of the
aforesaid society.
The Committee of Administrator shall arrange
for constitution of new Managing Committee in
accordance with the provisions of the Act, Rules
and Bye Laws of the said society.

On the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission as conveyed vide their letter
No. COM/I/5/78(7)/2018/57 dated 07-05-2019, Government is pleased to appoint following incumbents to
the post of Assistant Professor in Vocal in Goa College of Music, Panaji-Goa under Directorate of Higher
Education on temporary basis in the Pay Matrix Level 10 [Pay Band-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100+Academic Grade
Pay of Rs. 6,000/- (pre-revised)] with immediate effect, and as per the terms and conditions contained in
the Memorandum cited above:-
1) Smt. Shilpa Dinanath Parab.
2) Smt. Priti Yatin Varang.
The above incumbents shall be on probation for a period of two years.
They have been declared medically fit by the Medical Board. The appointment is made subject to the
verification of their character and antecedents. In the event of any adverse remarks noticed by the
Government on verification of their character and antecedents, their services shall be terminated.
They shall draw their salary against the newly created post vide order No. 1/5/2017-DHE/1024 dated
07-06-2018.

Fernandes to the post of Assistant Professor in History in Government College of Arts, Science and
Commerce, Sanquelim-Goa under Directorate of Higher Education on temporary basis in the Pay Matrix
Level 10 [Pay Band-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100+Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- (pre-revised)] with immediate
effect, and as per the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum cited above:-
Mr. Evereth Denis Fernandes shall be on probation for a period of two years.
Mr. Evereth Denis Fernandes has been declared medically fit by the Medical Board. The appointment
is made subject to the verification of his character and antecedents. In the event of any adverse remarks

The above appointment is made against the vacancy occurred due to retirement on attaining the age
of superannuation of Dr. Usha Bhende, Associate Professor in History, Government College of Arts,

In pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 40A of
the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Goa Act No. 14
of 1994), the Government of Goa hereby declares
Sunday, the 04th August, 2019 (Sravana 13, Saka
1941) as a “paid holiday”, being the “Polling Day”
for the General Elections to the Ward Nos. I, II & V
of the Harvalem Village Panchayat of Bicholim
Taluka to the following workers, who are entitled
to vote at the said General Election of the Harvalem
Village Panchayat, namely:-
(i) industrial workers;
(ii) daily wage workers of the Government
Departments and State Government
Industrial Departments;
(iii) commercial and industrial workers of
private establishment;
(iv) workers of all private establishments;
(v) daily wage/casual workers employed in any
business, trade, industrial undertakings or
any other establishments.
The aforesaid paid holiday shall be in addition
to the holidays indicated in the Government
Notification No. 37/5/2018-GAD-III/3268 dated
14-11-2018, published in the Official Gazette,
Series II No. 33 dated 15-11-2018, to the aforesaid
workers.
