In exercise of the powers conferred on me under
Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and as
recommended by the Dy. Supdt. of Police, Traffic
(North) Panaji I, R. Menaka, IAS, District Magistrate,
North Goa District hereby order the erection of
Pandal on the D.B.B. Marg opp. Old Secretariat and
temporary arrangements for diversion of traffic on
14th and 15th of August, 2019 on the occasion of
Independence Day in Panjim City.
1. The stretch of D.B.B. Marg from ferry wharf
junction to Bandodkar statue (both lanes) will
be closed for traffic flow from 20.00 hrs. of
14-08-2019 till the function is over on
15-08-2019.
2. The vehicles entering Panaji City via New Patto
Bridge on reaching Bandodkar statue will be
allowed to take left turn and proceed behind
Old Secretariat to take left turn near Joao
Castro Road Match Corner to proceed to their
destinations via M. G. Road.
3. The vehicular traffic desiring to go out of Panaji
City, on reaching ferry wharf will be diverted
towards Police Head Quarters to proceed to
Health Centre, Commerce point, Church
Square to proceed via Jose Falcao road, Joao
Castro road and exit via Old Patto Bridge or
via Cortin to proceed to Old Patto Bridge.
4. The traffic desiring to enter Panaji City from
Hotel Sona junction will be diverted towards
Old Patto Bridge and to enter Panaji City via
new Patto Bridge.
5. The movement of traffic on Joao Castro road,
Jose Falcao road and Dr. Pissurlekar road from
Printing Press junction to Hotel Aaram
junction will be reversed during the diversion
period.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me under
Section 112 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and
Rule 264A of the Motor Vehicles Rules, 1991 as

“Speed Breaker” at about 40 mts. on either side of
the speed breaker in advance of the speed breakers
and traffic signboard showing the sign “Speed
Breaker” at the placement of the speed breaker in
order to regulate the motor vehicular traffic.
The Sarpanch, Village Panchayat Salvador-Do-
-Mundo, Bardez is directed to publish this
notification through the Director of Information and
Publicity in newspapers and PWD to make
necessary arrangements to erect the signboards at
the places indicated above as per the specification
laid down by the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways and as published in the Official Gazette
by the Goverment of Goa and report compliance
within fifteen days time.

Police Headquarter Panaji do hereby:-
1. Wholly renounce, relinquish and abandon the
use of my former name of Pracash Vaman Parab
and in place thereof do assume from the date
thereof the name of Prakash Vaman Parab and
so that I may hereafter be called, known and
distinguished not my by former name of
Pracash Vaman Parab but by my assumed
name of Prakash Vaman Parab.
2. For the purpose of evidencing such my
determination, declare that I shall at all
records, deeds and writings and in all
proceedings, dealings and transactions private
as well as public and upon all occasions
whatsoever use and sign the name of Prakash
