order to regulate the motor vehicular traffic.

The Mapusa Municipal Council is directed to

publish this notification through the Director of

Information and Publicity in newspapers and PWD

to make necessary arrangements to erect the

signboards at the places indicated above as per

the specification laid down by the Ministry of Road

Transport and Highways and as published in the

Official Gazette by the Government of Goa and

Ref. No. MPDA/Land Use Map & Register/2019-

-20/1190.

For Adoption of Present Land Use Map and

under Section 27(4) and 27(5) of Town & Country

Planning Act, 1974.

Whereas, this Authority has prepared the

present Land Use Map and Register of Vasco-da-

-Gama Planning Area-2019 under Section 26 of the

Town & Country Planning Act and the same was

placed before the Authority’s 2nd Meeting held on

18-11-2019.

And, whereas Public Notice was issued under

Section 27(1) of the Town & Country Planning Act,

1974 i.e. for preparation of present Land Use Map

and Register in the newspaper namely, “Tarun

Bharat” and “Herald” dated 02-7-2019 and said Map

and Register was placed for inviting objections from

public.

And whereas this Authority requested the

Mormugao Municipal Council, the Village

Panchayat of Chicalim-Dabolim, Village Panchayat

Sancoale and the Village Panchayat of Chicolna-

Bogmalo to display the present Land Use Map and

in their office for information of the public.

And whereas this Authority extended the time

for objection/suggestion on the request of the public

and the notice for the same was published in the

local newspaper (Herald dated 29-8-2019).

And whereas under Section 27(3) of the Town &

Country Planning Act, 1974, the sub-committee was

appointed to hear the public objections and make

a report to the Mormugao Planning and

Development Authority. The Sub-committee heard

the concern persons who have filed their objections

to the present Land Use Map and Register and

prepared the report.

And whereas, under Section 27(4) of the Town &

Country Planning Act, 1974, the sub-committee

placed the report in the 2nd Authority Meeting

held on 18-11-2019. The Authority considered the

report of Sub-committee and Authority unanimously

resolved to adopt the said Land Use Map and

And whereas, in view of Section 27(5) of the

Town & Country Planning Act, 1974, the adoption

of the said Land Use Map and Register is to be

published herewith for the information of the

public.

And whereas, this is to inform the public, the

copies of the present Land Use Map and Register

of Vasco-da-Gama Planning Area - 2019 may be
