Sub.:- Manner of Voting at Village Panchayat

Elections, 2019.

Whereas the Elections to Taleigao Village

Panchayat in Tiswadi Taluka will be conducted on

28th April, 2019.

And whereas, the State Election Commission is

vested with the power of superintendence, direction

and control of the preparation of the electoral rolls

and the conduct of all elections to the Village

Panchayats, 2019.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested

in me under Article 243K of the Constitution of

India read with Section 237 of the Goa Panchayat

Raj Act, 1994 and Section 125-A of the Act, I, the

undersigned, State Election Commissioner, Goa, do

hereby decide that Votes shall be given by ballot

as per the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.
