In exercise of the powers vested in me under

sub-section 10 A of the Goa Municipalities Act,

1968 and sub-rule (1) of Rule 5 of Goa Municipalities

(Election) Rules, 1969, I, R. K. Srivastava,

Commissioner, Goa State Election Commission,

Panaji hereby appoint the Dy. Collector and S.D.O.

of Quepem Taluka as Returning Officer for the

ensuing bye-election to Ward No. XIII of Curchorem-

-Cacora Municipal Council.

Further, in exercise of the powers under sub-rule

(2) (a) of Rule 5 of the Goa Municipalities (Election)

Rules, 1969, I appoint the Mamlatdar of Quepem

Taluka as Assistant Returning Officer for the said

election.

In exercise of the powers vested in me under

sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Goa

Municipalities Act, 1968 amended from time to time,

I, R. K. Srivastava, Commissioner, Goa State Election

Commission, Panaji, hereby notify that the Electoral

Rolls of the Goa Legislative Assembly prepared

under the provisions of Representation of People

Act, 1950, for the time being in force as on 1st

January, 2019 with supplement I & II for such

constituency of the Assembly or any part thereof

as is included in Curchorem-Cacora Municipal area

shall be divided into different sections

corresponding to Ward No. XIII of Curchorem-

-Cacora Municipal Council fixed by the Director of

Municipal Administration under Section 10 of the

Goa Municipalities Act, 1968.

The division of Electoral Roll into different

section corresponding to Ward No. XIII shall be

done by the Mamlatdar of Quepem Taluka in which

the Municipal Council is situated and the List of

Voter so prepared shall be authenticated by the

Dy. Collector/S.D.O. of the respective Taluka.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me under

Section 36 of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968,

I, R. K. Srivastava, IAS (Retd.), Goa State Election

Commissioner, hereby appoint the Dy. Collector

(SDO)/RO of Quepem Taluka as the “Requisitioning

Authority” and authorise him to requisition

premises, vehicles etc. for the purpose of

bye-election to Ward No. XIII of Curchorem-Cacora

Municipal Council in Quepem Taluka.
