In exercise of the powers conferred on me

under Section 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988

and on the basis of recommendation by the Dy.

Supdt. of Police (Traffic), Panaji, I, R. Menaka, IAS,

District Magistrate, North Goa District, hereby notify

the “Speed Limit 30 KM/PH” on the stretch of road

from Olaulim Crematorium to the end of Village

Panchayat Jurisdiction near the house of Shri

Prabhakar Fadte in the Village Panchayat,

Pomburpa-Olaulim, Bardez-Goa.

Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on

me under the provision of the above Act, I also

authorize the erection of traffic signboards

indicating the speed limit, in order to regulate the

motor vehicular traffic.

Olaulim to publish this notification through the

Director of Information and Publicity in newspapers

and to make necessary arrangements to erect the

signboards at the places indicated above and report

compliance within fifteen days time.
