Whereas in excise of the powers under Section

6(2)(i) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, The

National Disaster Management Authority has

decided to direct Ministries/Departments of

Government of India, States Authorities to take

measures for ensuring social distancing so as to

prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

Further National executive committee has issued

guidelines under section 10(2)(i) of the Disaster

Management Act, 2005.

And whereas it has been decided by the

Government of Goa that all the petrol pumps shall

operate in staggered manner keeping in view the

social distancing guidelines and ensuring adequate

supply of petrol, diesel, CLG/LPG etc. it has been

decided that:-

1. 60 No. of petrol pump will be allowed

to operate with effect from 00:00 hrs of

25-03-2020 (i.e. intervening night of 24-03-2020

and 25-03-2020 to 00:00 hrs of 14-04-2020

i.e. intervening night of 14-04-2020 and

15-04-2020) as per list annexed. All the said

petrol pumps shall operate from 7:00 am to

7:00 pm each day except the following five

petrol pumps which shall be operative 24 X 7:-

a. Heera Petrol pump, Panaji.

b. Mapusa Service Station, Mapusa.

2. The LPG agencies shall be operational and

would provide only “Home Delivery” of

Cylinders.

3. The above said petrol pumps/LPG agencies

shall operate with the bare minimum staff and

shall adhere to safety and health guidelines

issued by Health authorities from time

to time.

4. Petrol pump/LPG agency owners shall insure

that the staff is provided with sufficient

number masks and hand sanitizers.

5. The petrol pump/LPG agency owners should

collect the “Curfew Pass”/“Permit” from the

Office of District Collector or their authorized

representative.

6. The Staff should carry the ORIGINAL Curfew

passes at all time along with one of the photo

identity Viz. ADHAR CARD/Passport/Driving

license/PAN card.

7. In case the staff does not have the photo

identity proof then they should “Photo ID

Curfew Pass” from the Office of District

Collector or their authorized representative.

8. It must be ensured that no dispensation of

petrol/diesel is allowed in bottles or any other

storage containers.

9. Further the petrol pumps are advised to collect

money either in digital form in the money box

designated for the purpose in exact change.

10. In case of any case doubt the decision of the

District Collector shall be final and binding.

This is issued with the approval of competent

authories.
