Whereas, the Government vide No. 36/1/TCP/
/324/2018/2629 dated 28-12-2018 directed the

Mormugao Planning & Development Authority
(hereinafter referred to as the Authority), under
Section 39 of the TCP Act, 1974 to take up the
process afresh of revising the Outline Development
Plan for Vasco-da-Gama Planning Area by following
the process under Section 29, 30 and 34 to 37 of
the Town & Country Planning Act, 1974.
Whereas, the Authority vide Notification No.
MPDA/ODP-2030(Revised)/2020-21/958 dated
25-01-2021 published in the Official Gazette vide
Series III No. 44 dated 28-01-2021, the Draft Outline
Development Plan 2030 (Revised) for Vasco-da-
-Gama Planning Area.
And whereas, the time limit for filing the
objections was extended upto 20-04-2021 on
request of the General public and the same was
published in the Official Gazette vide Series III
No. 1 dated 01-04-2021.
And whereas the objections/suggestions
received from the public have been considered by
the Authority;
And whereas, ODP 2030 for Vasco-da-Gama
Planning Area was submitted to the Town &
Country Planning Board for consideration under
Section 36 of the Town & Country Planning Act,
1974 vide Ref. No. MPDA/Rev.ODP-2030/2021-22/
/1116 dated 08-10-2021. The said ODP 2030 for
Vasco-da-Gama Planning Area was placed before
the 176th (adjourned) meeting of Goa Town &
Country Planning Board held on 22-11-2021 and
the Board considered the said ODP 2030 and
approved the same by recommending certain
alterations/modifications.
And whereas, the Government considered the
said recommendations of the Town & Country
Planning Board vide Note bearing Ref. No. 36/1/
/TCP/324/2018/2770 dated 08-12-2021 accorded its
approval to the ODP 2030 (Revised) for Vasco-da-
-Gama Planning Area under Section 36 of the said
Act subject to certain alterations/modifications as
directed.
And whereas the Government vide Order
bearing No. 36/1/TCP/324/2018/2785 dated
09-12-2021, directed the Mormugao Planning &
Development Authority to carry out certain
alterations/modifications and re-submit the revised
ODP 2030 for Vasco-da-Gama Planning Area for
verification and confirmation by the Government.
And whereas the Mormugao Planning &
Development Authority after carrying out all the
alterations/modifications as directed by the
Government has vide its letter bearing No. MPDA/
/ODP-2030(Revised)/2021-22/1444 dated 13-12-2021,
re-submitted the revised ODP 2030 for Vasco-da-
-Gama Planning Area which has been verified and
confirmed by the Government vide Note No.
36/1/TCP/324/2018/2846 dated 13-12-2021.
And whereas, approval of the Government under
Section 36 of the Town & Country Planning Act,
1974 is communicated by the Chief Town Planner
(Planning) vide Order bearing No. 36/1/TCP/324/
/2018/2857 dated 14-12-2021.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers
conferred by Section 37 (1) of the Goa Town and
Country Planning Act, 1974 (Act, 21 of 1975); the
Mormugao Planning & Development Authority
hereby publishes the approved Outline
Development Plan 2030 for the Vasco da Gama
Planning Area in the Official Gazette and in the
local daily newspapers indicating the following
places where the copies of the said development
plan may be inspected.
1. Office of the Mormugao Planning and
Development Authority, 2nd Floor, Commerce
Centre, Old City Bus Stand, Vasco da Gama,
Goa.
2. Office of the Town Planner, Branch Office,
Mormugao Taluka, 4th Floor, Commerce Centre,
Old City Bus Stand, Vasco da Gama, Goa.
The Outline Development Plan 2030 for Vasco
da Gama Planning Area shall come into operation
from the date of publication of this Notification in
Official Gazette in terms of Sub section 3 of Section
37 of the Goa Town & Country Planning Act, 1974
(Act 21 of 1975).
The said Outline Development Plan 2030 for
Vasco da Gama Planning Area shall be subject to
the provisions of “The Goa Land Development and
Building Construction Regulations, 2010” as
amended from time to time.

Mahajan in the office of the Devalaya from 15th
January to 31st January, 2022.
The interested persons who may intend to be
enrolled in the catalogue or in the list of capable

petitions or objections in an ordinary paper, with
