In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of rule 1 of the

Goa Goods and Services Tax (Eighth

Amendment) Rules, 2021, No. 38/1/2017-

Fin(R&C)(217)/1937, published in the Official

Gazette, Extraordinary No. 4, Series I No. 27,

dated the 6th October, 2021, the Government

of Goa, hereby notifies the 1st day of January,

2022, as the date from which the provisions

of sub-rule (2), sub-rule (3), clause (i) of sub-

rule (6) and sub-rule (7) of rule 2 of the said

rules, shall come into force.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (2) of section 1 of the Goa Goods and

Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2021 (Goa Act

24 of 2021), the Government of Goa hereby

appoints the 1st day of January, 2022, as the

date on which the provisions of sections 2, 3

and 7 to 15 of the said Act shall come into

force.
