Government of Goa is pleased to accord lifetime status of the rank of

Cabinet Minister, with all consequential benefits, to Shri Pratapsingh Raoji

Rane, Member of the Legislative Assembly, for his lifetime contribution to

Goa as a Member of the Goa State Legislature for the past 50 years

continuously, wherein he has been a Member of the Legislative Assembly

since 1972 onwards till date, i.e. for ten continuous terms as MLA, and a

Chief Minister of Goa for more than 15 years.
