In exercise of powers conferred by Section 28 A of the Representation of

People Act, 1951, the Government of Goa hereby designates the Director

General of Police and all Police Personnel functioning in the Assembly

Constituencies of North Goa District and South Goa District of Goa State,

including the Officers and Personnel of Central Police Forces deployed for

Election in the State, as ‘Designated Officers’ for the purpose of Section 28 A

of the Representation of People Act, 1951 till the completion of the Election

process of the General Election to the Goa Legislative Assembly, 2022 and

all such officers shall be subject to the control, superintendence and discipline

of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi.
