Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on
me under Section 116 of the above Act, I also
authorize the erection of cautionary sign boards
“Thick Rumbler Strips Ahead” at about 40 mts. on
the left side of the road at the placement of the
Rumbler Strips in order to regulate the motor
vehicular traffic.
The Chief Officer Mapusa Municipal Council is
directed to publish this notification through the
Director of Information and Publicity in newspapers
and P.W.D to make necessary arrangements to erect
the signboards at the places indicated above as per
the specification laid down by the Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways and as published in the
Official Gazette by the Government of Goa and
report compliance within thirty days time.
