appended to the said Schedule is the property of the Government and the Government has proprietary
rights over it (hereinafter called as the “said land”);
And whereas, the Government proposes to constitute the said land as Reserved Forest;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Indian Forest
Act, 1927 (Act No. 16 of 1927), the Government of Goa hereby declares that it has been decided to
constitute the said land as Reserved Forest and further appoints, Shri Pravin H. Parab, the Forest Settlement
Officer for the purposes of said section.

21/07 dated 23-04-2021.
Whereas, the Government decided to implement
the policy decision for providing subsidized scheme
with one time payment as sewerage connection
charges for all the domestic consumers as indicated
in Col No. 4 of the Notification No. 8-4/PCE-PWD-
Accts/2020-21/07 dated 23-04-2021 for availing
sewer connection in view of the mandatory sewer
connections to be provided wherever sewer facility
is made available by the Government in view of the
Notification No. 8-4/PCE-PWD-Accts/2020-21/06
dated 23-04-2021.
Whereas, it is brought to the notice of the
Government that some of the societies/building
owners are not availing the sewerage connections
to the buildings, as some of the owners of the flats
are not available to pay the connection fees/some of
the owners are not willing to pay the fees & as such
the buildings/societies are unable to avail the
sewerage connection under the scheme due to non
payment of sewerage connection fees.
Now the Government shall recover the sewerage
connection fees as notified under the scheme from
the consumers who are not willing to pay/owners of
the vacant flats as follows from the monthly water
bills:
1. In cases where individual water connection
exist to each flat the sewerage connection
fees will be recovered from the monthly water bills
of the consumer at the rate of Rs. 150 in each bill
issued during the billing cycle till the entire amount
of Rs. 3000/- is recovered.
2. In cases where there exists a common
connection to a building/society and part of the
building owners are willing to pay the sewerage
connection fees, the connection will be provided to
the building by accepting the amount paid by the
building owners/society and the balance be
recovered from the monthly water bills of the
common building/society water connections at the
rate of Rs. 150/flat in each bill issued during the
billing cycle till the entire amount of Rs. 3000 per
flat is recovered from the balance amount payable
against the flats for which payment is not made.
The Government hereby also provides an option
to the consumers in above notified scheme to pay
sewerage connection fees as below:
1. In case of the category of “Existing domestic
consumers (Houses, Bungalows, Apartments etc.)”
the sewerage connection fees will be recovered from
the monthly water bills of the consumer at the rate
of Rs. 150/- in each bill issued during the billing
cycle till the entire amount of sewerage connection
fees as notified under rules is recovered.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a)
of Section 35 of the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968
(Act No. 9 of 1969), hereinafter referred to as the
said Code, the Government of Goa, being of the
opinion that it is necessary, in the public interest
for the purpose of carrying out the objects of the
said Code, hereby exempts the land admeasuring
an area of 16,725 sq. mts., surveyed under Survey
number 8 and sub-division numbers 1 and 2, of
village Cacora, Taluka Quepem, District South Goa,
State of Goa, from the operation of the provisions of
sections 30, 32 and 33 of the said Code subject to
the condition that the said land shall be used
exclusively for the purpose of educational
institution.
This Notification shall come into force on the
date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
