Whereas the Supdt. of Police, Traffic (North), has
submitted a list of abandoned/unattended vehicles
found lying since long period in the jurisdiction of
the Panaji City limits (Tiswadi Taluka).
And whereas the said vehicles are breeding
grounds for mosquitoes which causes rise in the
vector borne diseases and thus leads to health
hazard to the staff of Police Station and also to the
general public.
Now, therefore, I, Mamu Hage, District
Magistrate, North Goa District, in exercise of the
powers vested in me under Section 26 of the Indian
Police Act, 1861 call upon all the persons interested
in the said vehicles to submit their claims (if any)
to the Office of the Deputy Collector & Sub
Divisional Magistrate, Panaji-Goa, within a period
of 06 (six) months from the date of publication of
this proclamation.
If no objections/claims are received within the
stipulated time, the vehicles will be forfeited in
favour of the State Government and shall be
disposed by public auction as provided under law
and no further claims will be entertained from
anyone and the proceeds will be forfeited to the
Government.
The list of all identified vehicles is available with
the Office of the Deputy Collector & Sub Divisional
Magistrate, Panaji-Goa.

ahead, and necessary road marking of thermoplastic
paint, installation of red blinkers and fixing of cat
eyes, as per IRC specification laid down by the
Ministry of Road Transport & Highway and as
published in the Official Gazette Series I No. 15,
dated 15th July, 2005, by the Government of Goa.
The signboards shall be installed as per
specifications laid in the seventh schedule under
the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2005
and shall be located 40 meters in advance of the
first speed breakers and at the placement of the
speed breakers.
Action taken report including photographs of
the work executed must be submitted to this office
within 30 days.
Non compliance of order shall attract penal
provision U/S 188 of I.P.C 1860.

44. 2. In the backdrop of matrimonial discord
between the parties, under the provisions of
Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955,
the Family Court Pune, by consent of parties,
declared that the marriage solemnised
between the Applicant and the Respondent
stood dissolved. The decree of divorce by
consent came to be passed with effect from
10-08-2020. In view of provisions of Portuguese
Civil Procedure Code particularly, Article 1101
and 1102, the Learned Counsel for the
Applicant-husband
has
moved
this
application for ratification/confirmation of the
decree.
3. Shri A. Naik, learned Counsel appearing for
Respondent No. 1-wife consented for the
ratification/confirmation as according to him
decree for divorce was passed by consent of
parties. Shri S. P. Munj, Learned Additional
Government Advocate appearing for the
Respondent No. 2 has also not raised any
objection to the same.
In absence of any mitigating circumstances,
which warrant rejection of prayer for
confirmation, the prayer of the parties for
confirmation needs to be considered on
positive side. The confirmation/ratification of
the decree is in tune with the requirement
under Article 1102 of the Portuguese Civil
Procedure Code.
4. In the aforesaid background, the prayer for
ratifying the judgment and decree passed by
the Family Court, Pune in Petition No. F-1231
of 2019 decided on 10-08-2020 thereby
dissolving the marriage pursuant to the
provisions of 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act,
1955 needs to be allowed and is allowed
accordingly.
5. In the aforesaid background, the decree for
dissolution of the marriage between the
parties registered against entry No. 43 of 2017
is hereby ratified. The Civil Registrar shall
take appropriate steps for cancellation of the
said entry.
