Act, 1988 and Rule 264A of the Motor Vehicles Rules,

1991 as amended in 2005 and as recommended by

Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on

me under Section 116 of the above Act, I also

authorize the erection of cautionary sign boards

“Speed Breakers”, “No Parking Zone”, “Pedestrian

Crossing” and “Speed Limit” at about 40 mts. on

the left side of the road at the placement of the

Speed Breaker in order to regulate the motor

vehicular traffic. Traffic sign boards indicating the

speed limit on either side of the road in order to

regulate the motor vehicular traffic and to paint

the thick continuous yellow colour line with

thermoplastic fluorescent paint to avoid overtaking;

The Sarpanch, Village Panchayat Socorro, Bardez-

Goa is directed to publish this notification through

the Director of Information and Publicity in

newspapers and P.W.D to make necessary

arrangements to erect the sign boards at the

places indicated above as per the specification laid

down by the Ministry of Road Transport and

Highways and as published in the Official Gazette

by the Government of Goa and report compliance

within thirty days time.

breaker in order to regulate the motor vehicular

traffic.

The Sarpanch of Village Panchayat Pissurlem

Sattari-Goa, is directed to publish this notification

through the Director of Information and Publicity

in local newspapers to make necessary

arrangements to construct the Speed Breakers and

P.W.D. (Engineering Cell) to erect the sign boards

at the places indicated above as per the

specification laid down by the Ministry of Road

Transport and Highways and as published in the

Official Gazette Series I No. 15 dated 15-07-2005 by

the Government of Goa and report compliance

within thirty days time.
