In exercise of the powers conferred by

section 64 of the Water (Prevention and

Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Central Act 6

of 1974), the Government of Goa hereby

makes the following rules, so as to amend the

Goa Water (Prevention and Control of

Pollution) Rules, 2021, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1)

These rules may be called the Goa Water

(Prevention

and

Control

Pollution)

(Amendment) Rules, 2022;

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of rule 25.— (i) Amendment

of rule 25 (l) (n),— In the Goa Water Rules,

2021 (hereinafter referred as principal Rules),

in sub-section (n) of Section 1 of Rule 25, for

the expression “fees as specified in Table

1(A), 1(B) and 1(C) of Schedule I”, the

expression “Fees as specified in the Table 1

of Schedule I” shall be substituted.

(ii) Amendment of rule 25 (6).— In section 6

of rule 25, for the expression “www.

goapcb.gov.in”, the words and expression

“www.goaocmms.nic.in” shall be substituted.

3. Addition of new Rule 38.—

In the principal Rules, after Rule 37 new

“Rule 38” has been added, as below:-

“The service rules as applicable to the

Government employees will be made

applicable to the employees of the Goa

State Pollution Control Board upto 31st

October, 2022 or notification for regulation

of services of the employees of the Board as

provided under the Water (Prevention and

Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 whichever is

earlier”.

4. Insertion of new Form V.— In the

principal

FORM V (B) are attached.

5. Insertion of new Schedule I.— In the

In exercise of the powers conferred by

section 54 of the Air (Prevention and Control

of Pollution) Act, 1981 (Central Act 14 of

1981), the Government of Goa hereby makes

the following rules, so as to amend the Goa

Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution)

Rules, 2021, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1)

These rules may be called the Goa Air

(Prevention

(Amendment) Rules, 2022;

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of rule 25.— (i) Amendment
