In pursuance to Clause 17 & 18 of the Articles of

Association of Goa State Infrastructure Development

Corporation Limited (GSIDC), Government of Goa is

pleased to nominate Shri Joshua Peter De Souza, MLA

Mapusa on the Board of Director of GSIDC Ltd. and

further appoint him as Vice Chairman of GSIDC Ltd.,

with immediate effect.

Whereas, the office of Directorate of Panchayats

is functioning since its establishment at 3rd Floor,

3rd Lift, Junta House, Panaji, Goa.

And whereas, the workload has increased three-

fold times due to introduction of various Government

welfare schemes so also a large increase in court

cases, and to cope with the said work, the various

categories of posts have been appointed in this

Directorate from time to time.

And whereas, the present space of Directorate of

Panchayats located at Junta House, 3rd Lift 3rd Floor,

Panaji, Goa is insufficient as there are many public

attending the office on day-to-day basis for redressal

of their complaints/grievances.

And whereas, there is also a major increase in the

number of court cases, and the present space for the

courts where hearing is being conducted in the

office of Director of Panchayats, Addl. Director of

Panchayats-I and Dy. Director of Panchayats-North

is insufficient as many advocates along with litigants

are attending the offices for case hearings on a

day-to-day basis.

And whereas, this office, after due approval and

completing due administrative procedure, has taken

office premises on rental basis on the 3rd, 4th, 5th

and 6th floors of Myles High Hotels and Towers Pvt.

Ltd., situated at Patto, Panaji, Goa.

Now therefore, it is brought to the notice of all the

general public that from Wednesday i.e. 20-04-2022

onwards, all the Administrative works and the quasi-

judicial Court matters of Director of Panchayats,

Addl. Director of Panchayats-I and Dy. Director of

Panchayats (North) will be taken up at Myles High

Hotels and Towers Pvt. Ltd., situated at Patto, Panaji,

Goa for the convenience of the general public at

large.
