Whereas, the Bye Elections to 12-Reis Magos

Zilla Panchayat Constituency of North Goa Zilla

Panchayat and 13-Davorlim and 25-Cortalim Zilla

Panchayat Constituency of South Goa Zilla

Panchayat have been scheduled to be held on 16th

October, 2022.

Now therefore, the State Election Commission

in exercise of the powers conferred upon it under

Article 243K of the Constitution of India and Section

RNI No. GOAENG/2002/6410

Reg. No. RNP/GOA/32/2021-23

237(1) and (3) of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994,

do hereby notify as follows:-

(a) “that the Collector and District

Magistrate, North Goa shall function as the

overall Zilla Panchayat Election Officer (ZPEO)

for Bye Elections to 12-Reis Magos Zilla

Panchayat Constituency of North Goa ZiIla

Panchayat.

(b) “that the Collector and District

Magistrate, South Goa shall function as the

overall Zilla Panchayat Election Officer (ZPEO)

for Bye Election to 13-Davorlim and 25-Cortalim

Zilla Panchayat Constituency of South Goa Zilla

Panchayat”.

This comes into force with immediate effect.
