In exercise of the powers conferred by the

Goa State Journalist Awards Scheme, 2015

and all other enabling powers under it, the

Government of Goa hereby makes the

following Rules to amend the Goa State

Journalist Awards Scheme, 2015, namely:—

1. Short title, extent and commencement.—

a) This scheme may be called ‘the Goa State

Journalist

Awards

Scheme

(Second

Amendment) 2022’.

b) Amendment to clause No. 8 (b) may be

read as:

(b) There will be ten awards. Cash prize

amounting to Rs. 25000/- shall be

distributed among nine winners in each

category and cash prize amounting to Rs.

1 lakh to the Life Time Award to the retired

journalist for serving in the field of

Journalism for at least 25 years.

This is issued with the concurrence of

Finance Department vide their U. O. No. 2814/F

dated November 11, 2022.
