Whereas, the Dy. Supdt. of Police Traffic (North),

Altinho, Panaji had received a letter addressed to

PI Traffic Cell Calangute from Shri Ganeshanand

Swamiji, Shri Sadguru Sidharudh Swami Math,

CHOGM Road, Alto Porvorim has requested for

closure and diversion of road from Holy Family

Church side from 18-12-2020 to 21-12-2020.

And whereas, the Dy. Supdt. of Police Traffic

(North), Altinho, Panaji has recommended for holding

the Rathotsav Bhaktisohala on 19-12-2022 from 16:30

hrs. to 19:30 hrs. from Sidharudh Math to Chodankar

Hospital (Panaji-Mapusa Road) and back.

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers

conferred on me under Sections 115 & 116 of the

Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and as recommended by

the Dy. Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Altinho,

Panaji, I, Mamu Hage, IAS, District Magistrate, North

Goa hereby order for holding the Rathotsav

Bhaktisohala on 19-12-2022 from 16:30 hrs. to 19:30

hrs. from Sidharudh Math to Chodankar Hospital

(Panaji-Mapusa Road) and back, subject to the

following conditions:-

1. The normal flow of the vehicular traffic on the

main parallel and surrounding roads shall not

be obstructed.

2. The organizers shall ensure that the

participants of the Rathotsav as also others

attending the function shall not park their

vehicles on the roads obstructing normal

vehicular flow.

3. The vehicles used, if any, during the Rathotsav

shall not be stationed on the main road or any

other road which would cause obstruction to

smooth flow of vehicular traffic.

4. No road closure/diversion shall be effected

during the Rathotsav.

5. The organizers shall depute maximum Traffic

Marshals on all important junctions/crossing

for traffic regulation during the above program

and shall ensure that no obstruction to the

smooth flow of vehicular traffic is caused and

the participants of the Rathotsav walk to the

extreme side of the road and give way to the

normal vehicular flow without hindrance.

6. The organizers should obtain prior permission

from all the other competent authorities.

7. The participants shall obey the guidelines/

/notification issued by Ministry of Health in

view of COVID-19 pandemic.

8. If the organizers fail to adhere to above

conditions and cause obstruction for smooth

movement of traffic and consequent traffic jam,

the NOC issued will be revoked immediately

without giving any further notice.

9. The permission is subject to cancellation/

/revocation at any moment.

And whereas, the said vehicles are breeding

grounds for mosquitoes which causes rise in the

vector borne diseases and thus leads to health

hazard to the staff of Police Station and also to the

general public.

Now, therefore, I, Jyoti Kumari, District

Magistrate, South Goa District, in exercise of the

powers vested in me under Section 26 of the Indian

Police Act, 1861 call upon all the persons interested

in the said vehicles to submit their claims (if any)

to the office of the Deputy Collector & Sub Divisional

Magistrate, Margao-Goa, within a period of 06 (six)

months from the date of publication of this

proclamation.

If no objections/claims are received within the

stipulated time, the vehicles will be forfeited in

favour of the State Government and shall be

disposed by public auction as provided under law

and no further claims will be entertained from any

one and the proceeds will be forfeited to the

Government.

The list of all identified vehicles is available with

the Office of the Deputy Collector & Sub Divisional

Magistrate, Margao-Goa.

Enterprises’ requesting to allot Comunidade

land for the purpose of setting up Concrete
