Whereas, the Executive Engineer, W.D-I, Water

Resources Department, Porvorim, vide letter

referred at Sr. No. (1) has requested digging of road

and traffic diversion at Mala through the

playground of SAG for laying of flood discharge

delivery pipes Flood Mitigation measures and

construction of flood water pumping station at

Mala, Panaji-Goa from 20-04-2022 to 20-05-2022.

And whereas, the DYSP Traffic (N), Altinho, PWD,

Panaji has recommended for requested digging of

road and traffic diversion at Mala through the

playground of SAG for laying of flood discharge

delivery pipes Flood Mitigation measures and

construction of flood water pumping station at

Mala, Panaji-Goa from 20-04-2022 to 20-05-2022.

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers

conferred on me under Sections 115 & 116 of the

Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and as recommended by

the Dy. Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Altinho,

Panaji, I, Manu Hage, IAS, District Magistrate, North

Goa hereby order for digging of road and temporary

traffic diversion at Mala through the playground

of SAG for laying of flood discharge delivery pipes

Flood Mitigation measures and construction of

flood water pumping station at Mala, Panaji-Goa up

to 20-05-2022.

Conditions

1. Prior permission should be obtained from SAG

authorities.

2. Proper road carriage on the SAG ground shall

be ear marked fro vehicular movement.

3. The PWD/Contractor is directed to display

details the type of work undertaken, duration

required to complete the said work, contact

number of site engineer, Supervisors or any

other responsible person who could be

contacted in the event of emergency.

4. The PWD/Contractor shall install red lamps/

/light at the construction site for clear visibility

during night time.

5. No construction material should be dumped on

the road causing obstruction to the road users

and motorists.

6. WRD/Contractor undertaking the work shall

construct the temporary pathway to allow to

and from movement of the vehicles.

7. Sufficient traffic signages/directional boards

should be erected at all the road closure points

for the information of motorists and other road

users.

8. Material used for barricading the road should

be painted/pasted with fluorescent paint/tape

for illuminating the same during the night time.

9. After completion of the work entire place

should be cleaned from all types of debris, mud

etc. and the road should be brought down to its

normalcy for the use of motorists and other road

users.

10. Prior permission from other competent

authorities should be obtained in advance.

11. The work should be completed on or before

20-05-2022 and the road should be resurfaced

for normal use.

Fernandes in favour of other co-heirs, in terms of
