Whereas this office had issued a Notification

referred at (1) above notifying the stretch of road

from Siolim to Assagao on both sides of the road at

Sonarkhed, Assagao, Bardez-Goa as “No Entry, One

Way and Compulsory Left”.

And whereas, the Hon’ble MLA Siolim

Constituency, Vice Chairman, ESG-Goa vide her

letter referred to at (3) above has requested to de-

notify “No Entry, One Way and Compulsory Left” as

the PWD has forwarded a proposal for widening of

road on both side for which this stretch of road is

included. (The stretch of road from Siolim to Assagao

at Sonarkhed).

And whereas, the Dy. Superintendent of Police,

Traffic (North), vide his report referred to at (4) above

has conveyed No objection to de-notify “No Entry,

One Way and Compulsory Left” and to open the

said road for the use of vehicles on both the

directions to avoid road accident and fatalities to

the users.

Now therefore, I Mamu Hage, IAS District

Magistrate North Goa hereby de-notify “No Entry,

One Way and Compulsory Left” on the stretch of

road on both sides of the road at Sonarkhed, Assagao,

Bardez for all types of vehicular traffic.

The Notification No. 23/4/2022/MAG/BAR/1525

dated 18-07-22 issued by the District Magistrate

North, stands cancelled.
