In exercise of the powers conferred on me under

Section 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and as

recommended by the Asstt. Engineer SD.II/WD.XIII/

/PWD, Mapusa-Goa and the Dy. Superintendent of

Police (Traffic), Panaji, I, Mamu Hage, IAS, District

Magistrate, North Goa hereby notify the places

mentioned in Column No. 2 of the schedule below

as “No Parking Zone” on the Village road within

the jurisdiction of Village Panachayat, Bastora,

Bastora, Bardez, shall publish this notification

through the Director of Information and Publicity

in local newspapers and make necessary

arrangements to erect the signboards at the places

indicated above and report compliance within

thirty days time.

The Executive Engineer, Works Division XVIII

(Road), P.W.D., Ponda-Goa, shall take necessary action

for erection of Hump Type Speed Breakers and

Rumble Strips and cautionary signboards. The works

be strictly as per the specifications along with

installation of necessary cautionary signboards and

road markings of thermoplastic paint, fixing of cat

eyes, as per IRC specifications laid down by the

Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways and as

published in the Official Gazette, Series I No. 15

dated 15th July, 2005 by the Government of Goa.

The signboards shall be installed as per

specifications laid in the Seventh Scheduled under

the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2005

& shall be located 40 meters in advance of the

hump type speed breaker and at the placement of

the speed breaker.

Action taken report including photographs of

the work executed must be submitted to this office

within 30 days.

Non compliance of order shall attract penal

provisions under section 188 of I.P.C., 1860.

49 years, married to Mr. Edgar Julian Remedios, son

of Julian Paulo Remedios, aged 58 years, Indian

National, both resident of House No. Flat No. 1,

Swati Bldg., St. Inez Church, Panaji, North Goa, State

of Goa and besides them there is no other person

or persons competent in law to succeed to the

aforesaid deceased persons and that there does not

exist any other person or persons who according to

the prevailing law in force in the State of Goa may

have a legal right of succession or would prefer in

the said succession or would concur to the

inheritance left behind by said deceased persons.
