Notice is hereby given that the list of registered
practitioners in Form 13 in terms of Section 21(1)
and Rules 96 & 97 of The Goa Medical Council Act,
1991 and Rules, 1995 is exhibited on the Notice
Board of Council Office and is available for perusal.
Printed Copy of said Form 13 is available for sale to
public/R.M.P.s in Council Office on payment of
Rs. 500/-.
Notice is also given that the list of names
removed from the register of medical practitioners
maintained in terms of clause (c) of Section 23 and
Rule 61 of The Goa Medical Council Act, 1991 and
Rules, 1995 is available at Council Office. The details
of such names removed can be confirmed by
individual defaulting medical practitioners from
Council Office on submission of request letter
accompanied by self-attested copy of photo identity.
All the defaulting medical practitioners whose
names are removed from the register of medical
practitioners are already advised of Council’s
decision through registered letter posted at their
last recorded address with Council.
A copy of the list of registered practitioners shall
be evidence in all Courts, and in all judicial or
quasi-judicial proceedings, that the persons therein
specified are registered according to the provisions
of The Goa Medical Council Act, 1991 and the
absence of the name of any person from such copy
shall be evidence, until the contrary is proved, that
such person is not registered according to the
provisions of this Act. Provided that, in the case of
any person whose name does not appear in such
copy, a certified copy under the hand of the Registrar
of the entry of the name of such person on the
register shall be evidence that such person is
registered under the provisions of this Act.
