In exercise of powers conferred by Section 28 A of the Representation of People Act,

1951, the Government of Goa hereby designates the Director General of Police and all

Police Officers functioning in the North Goa Parliamentary Constituency and South

Goa Parliamentary Constituency including the Officers and personnel of Central

Police Forces deployed for Election in the State, as ‘Designated Officers’ for the

purpose of Section 28 A of the Representation of People Act, 1951 till the completion

of Election process to the aforesaid Parliamentary Constituencies, 2024 and all such

officers shall be subject to the control, superintendence and discipline of the Election

Commission of India, New Delhi.
