Prohibitory Order

U/S 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1973

Whereas, as part of safety and security measures

which are required to be taken during the G20

meeting in Goa i.e. the 3rd International Financial

Architecture Working Group Meeting and related

events, scheduled to be held in the State of Goa from

5th to 8th June, 2023.

And whereas, the OSD Cordinating G20, Goa, has

informed that the 3rd International Financial

Architecture Working Group Meeting is scheduled

on 6th & 7th of June, 2023 at Taj Research &

Conventional Center Donapaula. Dignitaries of

various G-20 countries & International Organization

will be attending the meeting. One dinner for the

delegates will be hosted at Cidade-de-Goa,

Donapaula.

And whereas, further requested this office to issue

Order restricting the movement of people on the

beach near Cidade-de Goa, Donapaula from 5th to

8th June, 2023.

EXTRAORDINARY

Now, therefore, in view of the above. I, Mamu

Hage, IAS, District Magistrate North Goa District

in exercise of powers vested to me under section

144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, do

hereby order that:

a) To Prohibit movement of general public and

closure of local path way leading to the Cidade

de Goa beach, Donapaula from 06.00 p.m. on

5th June, 2023 to 06.00 p.m. on 8th June, 2023

for the security purposes of the protected

persons/delegates of foreign countries.

b) To Prohibit flying of drones upto 2 kms. radius

around the Cidade de Goa Resort/beach, Dona

Paula-Goa.

Since it is not possible to serve individual

notices to all persons concerned, this order is being

passed ex parte. Any person, who contravenes this

order shall be liable for punishment in accordance

with the provisions of the law. The Deputy

Superintendent of Police, Security, Altinho, Panaji-

Goa, shall ensure compliance with this order. The

PWD department is directed to assist police in

erecting view cutter, barricades as per

requirements of the Deputy Superintendent of

Police Security, Altinho, Panaji-Goa.

This order will be in force from 6.00 p.m. on 5th

June, 2023 to 6.00 p.m. on 8th June, 2023.
