Whereas, the General Election to Harvalem

Village Panchayat in Bicholim Taluka, North Goa

District in the State of Goa is scheduled to be held

on 20th October, 2024.

Now therefore, the State Election Commission

in exercise of the powers conferred upon it under

Article 243K of the Constitution of India and

Section 237(1) and (3) of the Goa Panchayat Raj

Act, 1994, do hereby notify as follows:-

“that the Collector and District Magistrate,

North Goa shall function as the overall District

Election Officer (DEO) for General Election to

Harvalem Village Panchayat in Bicholim Taluka,

North Goa District in the State of Goa”.

This comes into force with immediate effect.

In exercise of the powers conferred vide Rule 5 of

the Goa Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat (Election

Procedure) Rules, 1996, I, Daulat Hawaldar, IAS (Retd.),

Commissioner of Goa State Election Commission,

hereby notify that the Electoral Roll of the Goa

Legislative Assembly prepared under the provisions

of Representation of People Act, 1950 (Central Act 43

of 1951) for the time being in force as on 1st January,

2024 (as the qualifying date) and published on

5th January, 2024 integrated with additions, deletions

and corrections carried out during continuous

updation 2024 upto 01-07-2024 for such Constituencies

of the Assembly or any part thereof as is included in

the area within the jurisdiction Village Panchayat

shall be adopted for the purpose of preparation of

Electoral Roll for ensuing General Election to

Harvalem Village Panchayat in Bicholim Taluka,

North Goa District in the State of Goa. The

Constitution of Village Panchayat is as per

Notification No. 4/41/Del/2023-24/SEC/529 dated

04-09-2024.
