AMENDMENT

Serial No. 4 (ii) (b) will be replaced and

shall be read as below:—

Benefit shall be limited to 100000 nuts per

beneficiary for a maximum area of 10 ha.

with 1600 bearing coconut trees. The per

ha. production of coconut shall be treated as

per actual but not more than 10,000 nuts per

ha. Farmers having lesser area would be paid

proportionate to their area. The rate received

by farmers shall be the actual price received

or the average minimum rate for the week

notified by ‘Goa Agricultural Produce &

Livestock Marketing Board’, Arlem, Raia,

Salcete-Goa whichever is higher.

Serial No. 4 (ii) (e) will be replaced and

shall be read as below:—

The average minimum price fixed per

coconut will not be less than Rs. 6/- per nut

and the maximum assured price to be paid

NOTE

There is an Extraordinary issue to the Official Gazette, Series I No. 44 dated 30-01-2025, namely, Extraordinary dated 5-2-2025

from pages 1933 to 1938, Notifications from Department of Finance regarding the Goa GST (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

to an individual farmers shall not exceed

Rs. 9.00 lakhs.

Serial No. 4 (iii) (a) will be replaced and

shall be read as below:—

Benefit of assured price of Rs. 170/ shall be

provided to raw cashewnut sold by farmers

to the extend of difference between

Rs. 170/kg. and the price received per kg. by

the farmer. The price received shall be actual

price received by sale or average rate for the

week notified by the ‘Goa Agricultural

Produce & Livestock Marketing Board’,

Arlem, Raia, Salcete-Goa’ (GAPLMB) and

other societies whichever is higher. In case

the rates are not notified for the week by

GAPLMB the last rates as notified would be

considered as rate of sale in the market.

Serial No. 4 (iii) (b) will be replaced and

shall be read as below:—

Benefit of the scheme shall be provided to

maximum of 4000 kgs. per individual

cultivator, considering max area of 10 ha. The

farmers having less area would be paid

assured price proportionate to their area.

Minimum quantity that would be considered

to avail benefit shall not be less than 50 kg.

The area registered under Krishi Card will

be considered for extending the benefit of

assured price.

Serial No. 4 (iii) (c) will be replaced and

shall be read as below:—

The maximum limit of difference amount

between the assured price of Rs. 170/- and

the actual sale price below the assured price

shall be Rs. 50/kg.

Serial No. 5 (i) will be replaced and shall

be read as below:—

The farmer shall apply in prescribed form

along with copy of Krishi Card within a period

of one year from the date of sale of produce

in case of Paddy, Arecanut, Coconut,

Cashewnut and Alsando. No case will be

considered after lapse of the prescribed time.

The traders registered with the Directorate

of Agriculture shall purchase the produce and

disburse the payment in a cashless manner

to the farmer. Online payment receipt, cheque

number and date needs to be written on the

bill by the trader. Such receipts shall be

enclosed to the application form at the time

of submission of application for assistance.

Serial No. 5 (ii) will be replaced and shall

be read as below:—

Zonal Agricultural Officer shall verify the

correctness of the claim from office records

or actual verification on site and determine

the quantity of produce admissible if required.

Zonal Agriculture Officer shall verify from the

traders records quantum of amount paid

online or in a cashless manner for the quantity

traded/received for payment of assured price.

The bill books will be endorsed only on

verification of the quantity traded and online/

/cashless payment made by the traders.

Serial No. 5 (iv) will be replaced and shall

be read as below:—

The expenditure sanction shall be issued

by the concerned District Agriculture Officer

and subsidy shall be drawn and disbursed

by the Zonal Agriculture Officer through a

designated bank.

Other contents of the Notification remain

the same. This Amendment shall come into

force from the date of issue of this Notification.

This issues with the approval of the

Government and concurrence of Finance

(Exp.) Department vide their U. O.

No. 1400098720 dated 05-09-2024.

In partial modification of the notification

referred above at Sr. No. 1 the clause (vi)

sub-clause (a) shall be revised and amended

as follows:—

(a) “Financial Assistance for construction

and renovation of farms”

Financial Assistance will be provided as

subsidy i.e. 25% subsidy of the cost of

construction of new farms/bundhs etc.,

limited to Rs. 2.00 lakh per hectare.

Aquaculture farmers will be eligible for

subsidy once in life time”.

And in clause (vi) sub-clause (b) shall be

revised and amended as follows:—

(b) “Financial Assistance for purchase of

farming equipments”

50% of the cost limited to Rs. 1.00 lakh per

hectare will be provided in the subsidy for

purchase of farm equipment’s like aerators,

pumps, crates, ice boxes, etc. Aquaculture

farmers will be eligible for subsidy once in

life time.

This issues with the concurrence of the

Finance Department vide their U. O. No.

1400088507 dated 28-01-2025.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the

Scheme for Assistance for Purchase of

LAPTOP/Camera for Journalists, 2021 and all

other powers enabling under it, the

Government of Goa hereby makes the

following amendments to the Assistance for

Purchase of LAPTOP/Camera for Journalist,

2021.

1) Existing clause (3)(ii) shall be substituted

as:—

“The Government grant for Computer/

/Laptop/tablet/iPad/Smartphone

restricted to maximum of Rs. 50,000/-”

For Journalists:

2) Clause 3 (2) (i) and (iii) may be deleted

For Photo Journalists:

3) Clause 3 (2)(ii) may be deleted

4) Existing Clause 4 (a) shall be substituted

as:—

“the Journalist may avail the benefit of

the scheme after completing 5 years of

deriving benefit of the said scheme and

shall be a continuous working Journalist

as defined under the scheme.”

5) Existing Clause 4(c)(iv) shall be

substituted as:—

“the declaration certificate from the

beneficiary/applicant that he/she shall

take full responsibility for the maintenance

of the computer/laptop/camera/tablet/

/smart phones and the Government/

/Department will not be responsible for any

servicing/maintenance/repair.

This issues with the concurrence of the

Finance (Exp.) Department vide their U. O.

No. 7988/F dated 10-01-2025.
