In exercise of the powers conferred under Section
112 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central
Act 59 of 1988) and rule 264-A of the Goa Motor

markings of thermoplastic luminous paint/
/strips, median markings for better visibility,
guidance of motorists and embedded cat-eyes as
per IRC specifications laid down by the Ministry of
Road Transport & Highway & as published in the
Official Gazette, Series I No. 15 dated 15th July, 2005,
by the Government of Goa. The signboards shall be
installed as per specifications laid in the schedule
under the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules,
2005.
Action taken report including photographs of

Whereas, the authorized signatory, Shri Arun T,
Senior Plant Manager Goa LPG Plant Hindustan
Petroleum Corporation Limited, Goa LPG Bottling
Plant, Plot No. 150, Kundaim Industrial Estate,
Ponda-Goa 403115, has applied under Rule 48 of
the Gas Cylinder Rules, 2016, for grant of N.O.C. for
development of parking area in newly leased plot
No. 7 admeasuring an area of 4940 sq. mts. located
within Kundai Industrial Estate.
Whereas, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation
Limited (A Govt. of India Enterprise) has its LPG
Bottling Plant at Plot No. 150, Kundaim Industrial
Estate, Kundaim, Ponda-Goa 403115, they are
supplying LPG cylinders from Goa LPG Plant to
North and South Goa and some Districts of
Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Whereas, at present they are having a parking
area of approximately 2350 sq. mts. for parking of
LPG bulk tankers as well as LPG packed cylinder
trucks. Current parking area is inadequate for
parking of the trucks due to increase in market
demand. Hence, they have leased additional land
from GIDC bearing plot number area-7 admeasuring
as area of 4940 sq. mts. located within Kundaim
Industrial Estate for development of additional
parking area of LPG bulk tankers as well as LPG
packed cylinder trucks.
Whereas, a copy of the application along with
the plan of the project is available for public
inspection in the Office of the Deputy Collector &
S.D.O., Ponda and also, in the Office of the Mamlatdar
of Ponda, during working hours for 15 days from the
date of publication of this public notice;
Whereas, the objections, if any, will be heard by
the District Magistrate, South Goa at Mathany
Saldhana Complex, Margao, on expiry of the period
of 15 days from the date of publication of this notice;
Therefore, public notice is hereby given that any
person objecting for above development of parking
area in newly leased plot No. 7 admeasuring an
area of 4940 sq. mts. located within Kundai
Industrial Estate, may give notice of such objection
to the District Magistrate, South Goa and to the
applicant, not less than seven days before hearing
of the application together with the name and
address and calling with a short statement of the
grounds of his/her objection.
