It is hereby notified to all concerned that the cashew zones of the Talukas which have remained
unbidded in the course of 1st & 2nd cashew auction shall be disposed of by way of sealed tenders at the
discretion of the Commissioner of Excise in terms of Rule 72(5) of the Goa Excise Duty Act & Rules, 1964.
For the above purpose, the Commissioner of Excise hereby invites tenders in the prescribed forms which
are available in the Office of the Commissioner of Excise, Panaji and will be made available at all Excise
Stations of respective Talukas. Every such tender duly filled in by the interested person should accompany
a receipt in prescribed form for having deposited an amount of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as
earnest money. Separate tenders shall be submitted for each zone.
The tenderer to whom the right to distill liquor is adjudicated by the Commissioner of Excise, shall have
to pay the total amount of the offer quoted by him/her in tender, no sooner his offer is accepted by the
Commissioner. In case of failure, the earnest money deposit shall be forfeited in favour of the Government.
The earnest money deposited by the unsuccessful tenders shall be returned to them against respective
receipts.
The envelope containing the tender must be duly sealed and superscribed with the words “Sealed
Offer” and should be addressed to the Commissioner of Excise, Panaji mentioning the name of the person,
name of the zone, name of the taluka as specified below:

After the aforesaid time is over, the tenders in respect of cashew zones of the concerned Taluka will
be opened in presence of the tenderer who remain present on the above dates, time and venue and the
cashew zones will be disposed off to the highest tenderer either by way of tender or as per the discretion
of the Office of the Commissioner of Excise.
In case of each cashew zones taken on tender, the Excise Duty shall be collected from the tenderers
with reference to the liquor actually produced. However, no refund shall be allowed if the Excise Duty
corresponding to production is below the tendered price.
The particulars in respect of the cashew zones which have remained unbidded and will be opened for
inviting sealed tenders may be obtained from the Office of the Commissioner of Excise, Goa Rajya Kar
Bhavan, Altinho, Panaji, Goa during office hours. The tenderer shall have to observe provisions of the Goa
Excise Duty Act, 1964 and the rules made there under as far as they are applicable to them. Further,
cashew zones which remained unbidded during sealed tender will not be disposed by open tender.
The Commissioner of Excise, reserves the right to reject any tender or all tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 112 & 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and
Rule 264A of the Motor Vehicles Rules, 1991 as amended in 2005 and as proposed by the Project Manager,
Structwel Designers & Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai and as recommended by the Asstt. Engineer-II, SD.I,
WDXIII (R), PWD, Pernem-Goa, I, Dr. Sneha S. Gitte, IAS, District Magistrate, North Goa District, hereby
order for prohibition of vehicular traffic over 16 MT and speed restriction upto 30 Km./hr. over Bailpar
Bridge, in the jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Casarvarnem in Pernem Taluka.
Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under the provision of the above Act, I also authorize
the Sarpanch, Village Panchayat Casarvarnem, Pernem-Goa, to erect sufficient number of traffic signboards
indicating the prohibition of vehicular traffic over 16 MT and speed restriction upto 30 Km./hr. over Bailpar
Bridge in order to regulate the motor vehicular traffic and to paint the thick continuous yellow colour line
with thermoplastic fluorescent paint to avoid overtaking.
The Sarpanch, Village Panchayat Casarvarnem, Pernem-Goa, shall publish this notification through the
Director of Information and Publicity in newspapers and to make necessary arrangements to erect the
signboards at the places indicated above and report compliance within thirty days time.

the place mentioned in Column No. 2 of the schedule herein below within the jurisdiction of Village
Panchayat Latambarcem, Bicholim Taluka.

in advance of the rumbler strips and traffic signboard showing the sign “Speed breaker” at the placement
of the speed breaker in order to regulate the motor vehicular traffic.

1. The plots are vacated and declared vacant which the applicants failed to process the files for last

on the 31st March, 2025 being the end of financial year.
In case they wish to continue to be subscribers for the ensuing financial year 2025-2026 they have to
renew their subscriptions from 1st April, 2025.
Subscriptions also can be opened for half year i.e. from 1st April or 1st October or for any quarter,
beginning on 1st April, 1st July, 1st October or 1st January.
Renewal of subscription from 1st April should be effected on or before 31st March, 2025 in order to avoid
