which various security arrangements are required

there shall be restriction on the aerial photography

or videography in any form such as by use of drone

Now, therefore, I, Asvin Chandru A., IAS, District

Magistrate, South Goa District, Margao-Goa in

exercise of the powers vested in me under Section

144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973,

do hereby prohibit aerial photography in any form

such as by use of drone cameras, flying balloons or

by any other aviated devices within 05 kms. radius

around BITS Pilani, Zuarinagar, opposite Radha

Krishna Temple and accordingly declared as ‘Red

Zone/No Fly Zone’ in South Goa District w.e.f.

26-04-2024 to 27-04-2024;

Provided that the above order shall not apply to:

1. Police Personnel and other Government Officials/

/Security Agencies if using the drone purely in

connection with their Official duties, subject

to the following conditions:

a) That the Police Personnel and other

Government officials shall be in their service

uniform and shall carry their identity cards and

authorization cards authorizing them to use the

drone in connection with their official duties,

issued by the Competent Authority.

b) That the exemption is applicable in relation

to the above said personnel only when they

are on official duty and to other agencies/

/entities who are granted specific NOC/

/permission by this office subject to

compliance of the guidelines and Drone Rules

2021 governing the same.

In view of the emergent nature of the order, it is
