Inviting Claims Under the Goa (Abolition of Proprietorships, Titles and Grants of Lands) Act, 2014

Pursuant to the letter No. 10/3/2021-HD(F&CD)(CEP)/189 dated 02-06-2025 received from the Under

Secretary (Home-II), Home Department (F&CD), Secretariat, Porvorim, Goa and in accordance with the

provisions of the Goa (Abolition of Proprietorships, Titles and Grants of Lands) Act, 2014 (Goa Act 8 of

2014), the Goa (Abolition of Proprietorships, Titles and Grants of Lands) Rules, 2015, the (Abolition of

Proprietorships, Titles and Grants of Lands) (Amendment) Rules, 2022 and the Goa (Abolition of Proprietorships,

Titles and Grants of Lands) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2025, this public notice is hereby issued.

All concerned persons, claimants, proprietors, occupants or interested parties are hereby informed that the

Government has extended the time period for inviting claims by 90 (ninety) days from the date of issuance

of this notice.

Accordingly, claims are hereby invited from eligible persons within 90 days i.e. from 10-07-2025 to

07-10-2025.

All such claims must be submitted in the prescribed format along with the necessary documents, affidavits

and evidence in support of the claim, to the designated authority as notified under the Act and the Rules.

Failure to submit claims within the stipulated time shall be deemed as a waiver of such claims and no

further claims shall be entertained thereafter.

For detailed information and claim forms, applicants may contact the Office of the Deputy Collector &

SDM, Bicholim-Goa.

of Police (Traffic), Panaji, I, Ankit Yadav, IAS, District Magistrate, North Goa hereby notify the place

mentioned in Column No. 2 of the schedule below as “No Parking Zone” for all types of vehicles within

the jurisdiction of Corporation of the City of Panaji, Tiswadi-Goa.
