Read: DI/INF/Goa State Film Festival Regulations/2014 dated 15^th December, 2014 published in

Official Gazette on 15^th January, 2015.

Queries have been received from the film fraternity with respect to the interpretation and applicability

of Clauses 8 and 9 of the Goa State Film Festival Regulations, 2014 to the 10th, 11th and 12th edition

proposed to be conducted from 14/08/2025. It is clear from a reading of the Regulations as a whole that the

editions mentioned in Clauses 8 and 9 are merely illustrative and not limited to any particular years.

Nevertheless, the said issue was placed before the Government for its decisions, whereupon it has been

expressly decided that the arrangement contained in Regulation 8 and 9 shall continue until the Goa State

Film Festival Regulations, 2014 remains in force.
