In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 112 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central
Act 59 of 1988) read with Government Notification No. 5/28/88/TPT (Part) dated 26th September, 1989 and
Rule 264-A of the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2005, I, Egna Cleetus, IAS, District Magistrate,
South Goa, Margao, in public interest, do hereby notify the “No Entry” and traffic signages as indicated in
the schedule below and also direct cautionary signboards demarcating the location for the visibility of the road
users for the purpose of regulating motor vehicle traffic.
