Read: 1. Government Order No. 22-2-2009/LD(Estt.)/LC/Part/2869 dated 31-10-2025 constituting the

Law Commission for the State of Goa.

2. Government Order of even number dated 31-10-2025 appointing Shri Aleixo Sequeira, MLA

as the Chairman, Goa Law Commission.

In pursuance of the approval of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, the Government of Goa is pleased to

accord the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister to Shri Aleixo Sequeira, MLA, Chairman, Goa Law

Commission, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the said office.

This supersedes all earlier orders issued in this regard, if any.
