In continuation to the above referred Public Notice inviting applications from eligible Hotels/Restaurants/
/Private Shacks for placement of Deck beds, Umbrellas, Tables and Chairs, Government is pleased to notify
the fee structure for placement of Deck beds, Umbrellas, Tables and Chairs for the current tourist season
2025-2026, as below:
The Application Fee shall be Rs.10,000/- (non-refundable). The applicant is required to submit Security
Deposit amounting to Rs. 50,000/- (for new registration). The permission fee for placement of Deck beds,
Umbrellas, Tables and Chairs upto 31-05-2026 is Rs. 1,32,000/- + GST. The demand drafts have to be drawn
on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Director of Tourism, Panaji-Goa, payable at Panaji-Goa.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 112 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central
Act 59 of 1988) and Rule 264-A of the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2005, I, Egna Cleetus, IAS,
District Magistrate, South Goa, Margao, in the public interest, do hereby notify “Hump Type Speed Breakers”
on the internal road from Cansaulim–Majorda MDR-43, to Utorda Beach near Dom Pedro Resort and near
MOG in Francis Pereira Ward, Utorda, Salcete-Goa, as indicated in the schedule below and direct the
erection of cautionary signboards accordingly:-

The Executive Engineer, W.D.VI (Roads), P.W.D., Fatorda, Margao-Goa shall take the necessary steps
for the erection of “Hump type Speed Breakers” at the above locations along with the installation of
cautionary signboards i.e. Hump type Speed Breaker, Go Slow, Curve Road, Four Road Junction etc.
alongwith necessary road markings of thermoplastic luminous paint/strips, median markings for better visibility,
guidance of motorists and embedded cat-eyes as per IRC specifications laid down by the Ministry of Road
Transport & Highway & as published in the Official Gazette, Series I No. 15 dated 15th July, 2005, by the
Government of Goa. The signboards shall be installed as per specifications laid in the schedule under the
Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2005.
Action taken report including photographs of the work executed must be submitted to this office within
30 days.
Non-compliance of order shall attract penal provision u/s 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

late Mr. Jose Estevam James Fernandes and said Mrs. Divina Senhorita Agnelia Da Costa as her, as his

of Law of Succession in force in this State of Goa may prefer the estate left by the deceased persons.
