In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 5 and sub-section (1) of Section 19 of

Right to Information Act, 2005, the Chief Electoral Officer hereby designates the officers mentioned in

column (2) & (3) against the district mentioned in column (1) of the table below in the State of Goa to be

the Public Information Officer and Assistant Public Information Officer for the area of jurisdiction shown

against them in column (5). Further designates the officers mentioned in column (4) against the district

mentioned in column (1) to be the First Appellate Authority for the area of jurisdiction shown against them

in column (5) to whom an appeal shall lie from any decision under Section 19 of the Right to Information

Act, 2005.

508/GOA/2025 dated 19^th May, 2025 regarding designation of District Election Officer, the Election

Commission, in consultation with the State Government, hereby designates for each District in the State of

एतद्द््वारा नीचे दी गई तालिका के स्तंभ (1) में यथाविनिर्दिष्ट गोवा राज्य में प्रत्येक जिले के सामने स्तंभ (2) में विनिर्दिष्ट

अधिकारी को उस जिले के जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी के रूप में नामोद्दिष्ट करता है तथा तालिका के स्तंभ (3) में वह

उल्लिखित गोवा राज्य के जिलों में से प्रत्‍येक के सामने स्‍तंभ (2) में उल्लिखित अधिकारियों को स्‍तंभ (3) में उनके

सामने दर्शाए गए क्षेत्राधिकार के लिए ऐसे अपीलीय अधिकारी के रूप में नामोद्दिष्‍ट करता है जिनके समक्ष निर्वाचक

रजिस्‍ट्रीीकरण नियम के नियम 20, नियम 21 या नियम 21क और लोक प्रतिनिधित्‍व अधिनियम, 1950 के नियम 22,

नियम 23 के अंतर्गत, उस जिले के भीतर समाहित विधानसभा निर्वाचन-क्षेत्रोंों में से प्रत्‍येक के रजिस्‍ट्रीीकरण अधिकारी
