No-4 (N) Gath. 16/2009-1809/UD&HD—In exercise of powers conferred by

section 6 of the Bihar Municipal Act, 2007 (Bihar Act 11, 2007) the Governor of Bihar is

pleased to constitute the following Municipal Corporation, draft of which is previously

published through the department's notification no. 641 dated 25.02.09 for the purpose of

the said Act in the areas lying within the places noted below in schedule 'A' in the

Districts of Munger and bounded as follows and to apply to the said areas the relevant

provisions of the Act:-

Schedule- A

1. (a) Name of Village Panchayats, Villages and Thana Nos

Name of Village Panchayats/ULB, Villages and Thana Nos

(i)

Nagar Parishad, Munger

Entire Area of the existing Nagar Prishad Munger

(b)

Boundary:-

North- Ganga River.

South-Hasanganj, Safiabad, Bypass road.

East-Suzabalpur.

West-Ganga River.

This area will be called Munger Municipal corporation, Munger
