The 28th August 2009

S.O. 159, Dated 28th August 2009—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

Section-13 and sub-section (1) of Section-14 of the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts Act. 1887

(Act. No. XII of 1887) and sub -section (3) of Section 9 of the code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act

2 of 1974) and in modification of all the previous orders and notification issued on the subject the

Governor of Bihar is pleased to direct that-

(a)

The Court of Additional District Judge of Patna Judgeship shall now be held at

Danapur also for the disposal of cases arising in the district of Patna and

(b) The court of Additional Sessions Judge of Patna Session Division shall now also

hold its sittings at Danapur for the disposal of such cases as may arise within the

local limits of Danapur sub-division.

(c)

This Notification shall come into force with effect from 5th September 2009.
