The 28th August 2009

S.O. 165, dated 1st September 2009.—In exercise of the powers conferred by

section 41&112 of the Factory Act, 1948. the State Govt. of Bihar is pleased to make

the following amendment rules to amend the Bihar Factory welfare officer Rules, 1952:-

Bihar Factory Welfare officer (Amendment) Rules, 2009

1. Short title, extent and commencement:—(1) These Rules may be called the

Bihar Factory Welfare officer (Amendment) Rules, 2009.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of Sate of Bihar.

(3) It shall come in to force at once.

2. Amendment in Rule 4 (a) of the said Rules, 1952:—The words " and has

qualified at viva-voce test conducted by the Labour Commissioner, Bihar" used in Rule-

4 (a) of the Bihar Factory Welfare officer Rules, 1952 are hereby deleted .
