No. C/LA-2/2007/3881/J-3881/J—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section

28 of Bihar State Legal Services Authority Act, 1987 (Act 39 of 1987) the Governor of

Bihar in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Patna, is

pleased to make the following rules namely ;—

1. Short title extent and Commencement—(i) These Rules may be called the Bihar

State Legal Services Authority (Amendment) Rules, 2009.

(ii) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.

(iii) It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of Section 16—The Words and figures "Rs. 25,000/-" used in rule

16 will be substituted by the words and figures "Rs. 50,000/-".
