The 26th November 2009

S. O. 266, Dated The 26th November 2009—In exercise of the powers conferred by

Sub-Section(1) of Section-13 and Sub-Section (1) of Section-14 of the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil

Courts Act 1887 (XII of 1887) and Sub-Section (3) of Section-9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure,

1973 (Act 2 of 1974) and in modification of all the previous orders and notifications issued on the

subject, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to direct that:-

(a) The Court of Additional District Judge of Patna Judgeship shall now be held at Patna

City also for the disposal of business arising in the district of Patna; and

(b) The Court of Additional Session Judge of Patna session division shall now also hold its

sittings at Patna City for the disposal of such business as may arise within the local

limits of Patna City Sub-Division.

(c) This notification shall come into force with effect from 5th December 2009 .
