The 2nd December 2009

S. O. 274 dated 3rd December 2009—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-

Section(1) of Section-13 and Sub-Section(1) of Section-14 of the Bengal, Agra and Assam

Civil Courts Act 1887 (Act. No. XII of 1887) and Sub-Section(3) of Section 9 of the Code of

Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974) and in modification of all the previous orders and

notifications issued on the subject, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to direct that—

(a) The Court of Additional District Judge of Darbhanga Judgeship shall now also be

held at Benipur for the disposal of cases arising in the district of Darbhanga; and

(b) The Court of Additional Session Judge of Darbhanga session division shall now

also hold its sittings at Benipur for the disposal of such cases as may arise within the local

limits of Benipur Sub-Division.

(c) This notification shall come into force with effect from 5th December 2009 .
