THE BIHAR LAND REFORMS (FIXATION OF CEILING AREA AND ACQUISITION OF SURPLUS

LAND) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2010

No. 8@Hkw0lq0 9&2@2009&230¼8½ jk0—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section

45 of The Bihar Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling Area and Acquisition of Surplus

Land) (Amendment) Act, 1961 (Bihar Act 12 of the 1962), the Governor of Bihar is

pleased to make the following amendment Rules to amend The Bihar Land Reforms

(Fixation of Ceiling Area and Acquisition of Surplus Land) Rules, 1963 :—

1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called The Bihar Land

Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling Area and Acquisition of Surplus Land) (Amendment)

Rules, 2010.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment in clause (i) of Sub-rule (1) of rule 44 of The Bihar Land Reforms

(Fixation of Ceiling Area and Acquisition of Surplus Land) Rules, 1963 :—In clause - (i)

of sub-rule-(1) of Rule 44 after the words "Sub section (1) " and before the words " of

Section 27" the words " or Sub-section (1a)" shall be inserted.
