No.-3/C5-296/08 (Part file)-1068— In exercise of powers conferred by section-90
of the Bihar excise Act, 1915 (Act,II,1915), the Board of Revenue, Bihar has been
pleased to amend the scale of license fee appended to rule-107 published in Board’s
Notification No. 23-137-2 dated 29th April, 1919 on pages 670-700 of part II of the Bihar
and Orissa Gazette, dated 7th May, 1919 and amended by Boards Notification No.
23/237-2/86-1, dated 31st March 1986; No. 2/23-4/86-1, dated 28th June 1986; No.2/23-
19/86-2, dated 27th March 1987 and No. 421, dated 24th March 2004.
AMENDMENT
Scale of fee for Independent Beer Bar
1. The annual license fee for the Independent Beer Bar shall be payble in advance
at the following rates:-
(A) For Patna town ----------- Rs. 4,00,000.00 (Four Lacs) per annum.
(B) For towns having population of one Lakh and above ----------- Rs.
3,00,000.00 (Three Lacs) per annum.
(C) For other towns except above (A) and (B) ----------- Rs. 2,00,000.00 (Two
Lacs) per annum.
(D) For places of rural areas ----------- Rs. 1,50,000.00 (One Lacs Fifty
Thousand) per annum.
2. This amendment notification shall come into force from the date of its
publication in the State official Gazette.
