The 29th December 2010

S.O. 249, dated the 30th December 2010—WHEREAS Shri Nawal Singh, Proprietor of

M/s. Kuber Bhandar, Kaurihar Chock, Raxual, P.O.- Raxual, P.S.- Raxual, District East

Champaran (Motihari) who was ordered to be detained under the Conservation of Foreign

Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (No. 52/1974) vide Government of

Bihar, Home (Special) Department Order No. 2059, dated 09.04.09 issued under sub-section (i)

of Section 3 of the said Act, which could not be served;

AND, WHEREAS, the State Government has reason to believe that he has been absconding

and is concealing himself so that the said detention order cannot be executed;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (i) of-

Section 7 of the said Act, the State Government has been pleased to direct the said Shri Nawal

Singh to appear before the Chief Judicial Magistrate East Champaran (Motihari) within thirty

days from the date of publication of this notification in official gazette, failing which he shall be

liable for punishment specified in the said Section.
